ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ELECTION COMMITTEE

Election Committee for HSNC 2021 election for BOD and BOT has concluded the election process for this year.

Please note that

  1. For the 2 open BOT positions effective January 1, 2022, Parag Dighe is elected uncontested.
  2. For the 3 open BOD positions, effective January 1, 2022, Pinky Tapiawala and Abhijeet Deshmukh are elected uncontested.

All nominations/candidates were informed on October 17th of the final list as per the email below.

The election committee suggests that HSNC BOD and BOT’s start the special election process for known open positions for 1 BOT and 1 BOD effective January 1, 2022.

Total three (1) BOD positions will be vacant starting January 1, 2022. The one (1) position is for a three (3) years term which will end on December 31, 2024.

One (1) Elected BOT position will be vacant starting January 1, 2022. BOT position will be for a period of four (4) years term which will end on December 31, 2025. The nomination form for the above positions will be made available after the 2022 Board takes the office.

Each Director shall be required to be a Member of the Society during his or her term of office and for at least the three (3) consecutive full calendar years immediately prior to the beginning of such Director’s term of office. A director’s residence shall be within a one (1) hour drive of the Society’s principal office. A director shall not have any criminal conviction other than minor traffic incidents such as speeding tickets or parking tickets. No Director can serve consecutive terms on the BOD.

Each Trustee shall be required to be a Member of the Society during his or her term of office and for at least the five (5) consecutive full calendar years immediately prior to the beginning of such Trustee’s term of office. He / She should have served on the HSNC Board of Directors for one full term. A trustee’s residence shall be within a one (1) hour drive of the Society’s principal office. A trustee shall not have any criminal conviction other than minor traffic incidents such as speeding tickets or parking tickets. Two members of the same household (spouses) cannot serve in the BOD/BOT at the same time. No Elected trustee shall serve consecutive terms.
